FESTIVAL ADMISSIONS:
$5 per person | Children 12 and under free | Parking included
Your admission of $5 is good for the entire day. You are welcome to come and go from the Festival throughout the day of your admission purchase but must continue to wear your admission bracelet as proof of admission purchase. The admission fee is non-refundable and is paid for your attendance at our festival and is not based on whether or not the hot air balloons fly [Ex: weather cancellations].
Please Note: Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds. We welcome medically needed service dogs.

No coolers or alcohol allowed.
No drones are allowed on or near the Festival and Dansville Municipal Airport.
Arrival and departures at the Festival may incur wait times prior to and after our hot air balloon launches due to the volume of people that attend. Please anticipate that you may be waiting in line as our local Sheriff’s department & Dansville Police department manage the traffic and plan your timing accordingly

ALL HOT AIR BALLOON activities are weather-permitting. We will cancel a balloon launch if there are concerns about weather patterns in our region. We provide on-going updates about our launches each day - with continued updates beginning an hour before each launch. Launch times are approximate and may be delayed to avoid weather issues so we can still fly. Follow our Facebook page for Festival updates.
FESTIVAL ACCESSIBILITY:
We offer accessible parking for our guests that require closer parking.
Please note: Our festival takes place on a grassy airport field. The terrain is very uneven and can be hard to navigate, at times, when using a wheelchair or walker.
We do offer [limited] seating under a tent for those that might want a place to eat or sit for a rest and get out of the sun. We encourage people to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the balloon launches and our live entertainment.
Local emergency and police personnel are on hand, at the festival grounds, for any guests who may need their assistance.
HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES:
Balloon rides are available for purchase. We highly recommend pre-purchasing your ride opportunity as we typically sell out. Rides may be purchased on our website [www.nysfob.com/balloon-rides] for $250 per person. Pre-purchased tickets must be obtained prior to August 15th - otherwise, you must purchase your ticket during the Festival, at the Balloon Ride Tent located near the airport runway. TETHERED BALLOON RIDES:
Tethered Rides are available only during our evening balloon launches and are weather permitting. Costs are determined by the balloonist and are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are cash only. There is no pre-purchasing of tickets for this entertainment.
CHILDREN’S RIDES & AMUSEMENT:
Returning again this year are inflatable rides and activities for children. Pricing is determined by the vendor that offers this entertainment to us. In previous years, folks have had the option of pay-one-price or pay-per-experience. We will be posting additional details at the beginning of the Festival, including this year’s pricing.
ON-SITE SERVICES:
We have ATMs on-site for the convenience of our festival guests. We also have porta-potties and water stations.
