Easter Activities and Hunts in and around Greece-NW Rochester

Where: Adventure Landing: Annual Easter Egg Hunts on the Mini Golf Courses!

When: Saturday March 26

Details: 2 Egg Hunts start at 9am & 11am!  Registration for the hunts begins at 8:30am.   There are 3 age groups:  3-5, 6-8, 9-10.

Cost:A $3 Per Child Donation will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York.

The Egg Hunt is followed by a charity raffle, too


Where: Garden Factory: Photos with the Easter Bunny and More

When:  Friday 3/25 and Saturday 3/26  11:00am- 4:00pm

Details: Hop on down and visit with the Easter Bunny this Easter! Photos with the Easter Bunny for a nominal fee & kids receive a treat. Professional photographer available on site to take memorable family photos for the holiday. 2 Barn Farm will be on site with a variety of animals in the petting zoo, Pony Rides will be available, and we will have a Potting Party for kids to pot their own flower!

Cost: Each activities charges a nominal fees

Where: Chili Recreation Easter Egg Hunt @ Roberts Wesleyan College For ages 3 and up

When:March 19, 2016 10:00-11:30 am, doors open at 9:45 am

Details:This year’s event will feature a Spring Fling inside the Roberts Wesleyan Voller Athletic Center AND an Easter Egg Hunt throughout the campus quad. Hunt areas will be broken up by age groups, and each group will go at a different time. Ages 4 and under will hunt first, ages 5-7 will hunt second, and ages 8 and up will hunt last. In the meantime, inside the Voller Athletic Center we will have bounce houses, entertainment, an Easter petting zoo, Gaga, Chili Rex’s Egg Roll, photos with the Easter Bunny and Reggie the Redhawk, Chili Soccer Association activities, food and drink for sale, and MORE! No tickets or pre-registration necessary.

Important Event Info:

- doors open at 9:45, and the event kicks off at 10:00 am

 - when you arrive, report to the Voller Athletic Center first

 - bring your own basket or bag to collect eggs

 - dress for the weather; the hunts are outside

- this event will be held no matter the weather!

- listen to announcements throughout the event so you know when your age group’s hunt will start

 - use Egg Etiquette; no pushing, leave eggs for other kids, hunt with your age group, wipe off muddy shoes when going inside

- use Environment Etiquette; stay off of landscaping, don’t throw trash on the grounds, walk along sidewalks

 This year eggs will be filled with candy, 50% off a drink at Jitters coupons, and 6 Golden Tickets. Golden Tickets are redeemable for our Grand Prize Basket! Be sure to check your eggs! Parents, this year you can be a winner too! Visit the Recreation Tent and enter our social media contest. You could win an Easter Basket filled with gift cards, chocolate and more!

Where: EVENING WITH THE EASTER BUNNY @ Chili Senior Center (3235 Chili Avenue)

When: Friday, March 18 6:00-8:00 pm

Details: The Chili Senior Center will be HOPPIN’ with fun on Friday. Children of all ages are invited to come out and join the Easter Bunny for a pizza dinner and make your own ice cream sundae social. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of food, entertainment and a special visit with the Easter Bunny.

Cost: $6/person

Where: EASTER EGG DECORATING NIGHT @ Chili Senior Center (3235 Chili Avenue)

When: Thursday, March 24   6:30-7:30 pm

Details: Join friends and family at the Chili Senior Center for an evening of Easter egg decorating. There will be paints, egg coloring, and other decorations so you can make the prettiest Easter Eggs in town! You need to provide the cooked eggs, as many you like, and we provide the rest. Although this is a FREE program, preregistration is required and space is limited so register early.

Where: Tween Craft: Easter Wreath for ages 8 to 13 @ Gates Public Library

When: Tuesday, March 22, 2016 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Details: Make an Easter Wreath from a kit!  This decoration has eggs and bunnies in spring colors. Materials are provided, courtesy of the Friends of Gates Public Library.  Registration is required and limited to 25 people.

Cost: FREE, however registration is required by calling

Where: Graham Cracker Easter Baskets @ Gates Public Library

When: Wednesday, March 23, 2016 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Details: Groups of approximately 4 to 5 family members or friends can sign up for an Easter Basket to decorate and fill together. Have a fun evening creating your own unique basket, led by Liz Bauld!

Cost: Registration is required. A Library Clerk will be available during open library hours to register your group for one of them. Register by calling

Where: Lake Shore Fire Department Annual Easter Egg Hunt @ Braddocks Bay Park

When: Saturday March 19, 2016 Starts at 9Am
